We can’t afford any more fossil fuel subsidies. For California’s present and Earth ’s future, let’s stop the gas tax holiday. The gas tax protects California’s climate, cleans our air, and funds our government. But Governor Newsom’s budget cuts it by $523 million this year. If this happens, we’ll have higher carbon emissions, more polluted air, and less money for programs that need them, and gas prices would fall by less than one percent. We’re fighting back.
